What Is IASIS MCN Neurofeedback?
IASIS MCN (Micro Current Neurofeedback) is a gentle, non-invasive approach designed to help the brain release unhealthy patterns and move toward healthier functioning. Many emotional, cognitive, and stress-related struggles can stem from a nervous system that has become “stuck” in dysregulation. IASIS works with the brain’s natural ability to self-correct, helping restore balance, flexibility, and resilience.
Unlike traditional neurofeedback, which often focuses on training the brain through repetition, IASIS is designed to help the brain “disentrain” from patterns that may no longer be serving it. Brief micro-stimulations create temporary shifts in brainwave activity, giving the brain an opportunity to reset and reorganize—similar to rebooting a computer.
The system uses an FDA-registered EEG amplifier and delivers signals that are extremely small—about 1/300th the strength of a cell phone signal and lasting as little as 1/100th of a second. Sessions are comfortable, safe, and administered by trained professionals in a clinical setting.
How Can IASIS Help?
Because brain dysregulation can affect many areas of life, supporting regulation may lead to improvements across a wide range of concerns. Individuals often seek IASIS support for:
-
Anxiety
-
Trauma / PTSD
-
Depression
-
Stress overload
-
Sleep difficulties
-
Focus and attention challenges
-
Mood instability
-
Emotional overwhelm
-
Concussion recovery
-
Nervous system dysregulation
Many individuals report meaningful shifts in calmness, focus, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Some notice positive changes after their first session, while continued sessions may help benefits become more stable and lasting over time.
IASIS can also be a valuable complement to counseling and trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and EFT by helping regulate the nervous system and making therapeutic work more accessible.

Safety, Results &
Next Steps
Safety is a central priority with IASIS. It is non-invasive, uses extremely low-level microcurrent signals, and is designed for professional clinical use only. More than 100,000 individuals have used the system, with no reported undesirable effects according to manufacturer data.
Reported outcomes have been encouraging, with over 85% of users describing meaningful benefits in areas such as anxiety, trauma symptoms, and mild to moderate brain injury recovery. Published findings have also reported reductions in abnormal brainwave activity and post-concussive symptoms, along with positive effects related to anxiety, depression, and PTSD. At GPS Psychology & Anxiety Clinic, we've also seen firsthand how IASIS can positively support a patient’s progress by helping individuals experience greater emotional regulation, improved resilience, and increased readiness for therapeutic growth.
IASIS MCN Neurofeedback can be a powerful support tool as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
